Foothills Film Society

We’d love to have you join us at our new home, the FCF-Holland Community Center at 34250 N. 60th ST., Building B, South of Carefree Highway on the new Black Mountain Campus, for a new season of interesting and inspiring films.  Speakers for each film will facilitate before and after each screening.

MRS HENDERSON PRESENTS is about a wealthy widow who needs something to do with her time and money. She fixes up a neglected theater and hires impresario Vivian Van Damm, though the two of them immediately butt heads as to how to run it.  She goes from non-stop plays to a nude review and becomes the only theater to stay open during the World War II.  Starring Judi Dench and Bob Hoskins.

BILLY ELLIOTT called “one of the best movies of the year,” is the story of a young boy from a working class family who finds his passion in dance.  Much to the dismay of his father, Bill strives to live his dream.
