Partners in Education
The Education Division of the Foothills Community Foundation has changed its name to Partners in Education (PIE). The PIE Committee feels this will help people to better understand the mission to support education and enrich the lives of the students in the Foothills area. The Education team works hard planning, volunteering and supporting Education events to provide support to students in the Cave Creek Unified School District who have an academic need. Programs we currently support are:
Artist in Residency
Sponsoring in-depth art experiences between students and professional working artists.
Desert Foothills Community Education
PIE provides support to Desert Foothills Community Education (DFCE). This support helps programs such as pre-school, after school clubs, homework support, summer school classes, summer performing arts camp and Artist in Residence. For more information about DFCE, click here.
Grad Night Live
A program supported by PIE for graduating seniors at Cactus Shadows High School. This lock-in event provides a fun and safe overnight celebration for the students.
Luther Dilatush Young Citizen’s Award
Each year we recognize outstanding youth volunteers in the community with this award. For more information,

We are excited to be into our new home, the FCF - Holland Community Center. This spacious facility enables us to provide expanded programs in a convenient location, leverage joint programs with our partners, and to centralize our offices.
