Bob Herrmann, Treasurer

Residents of Legend Trail Golf Community, Bob and his wife Barbara relocated to the Foothills from Atlanta, Georgia. Raised in Chicago, Bob’s business career spanned 33 years with the U.S. Treasury Department culminating in positions of Deputy Comptroller of the Currency in Atlanta and Chicago and Senior Deputy Comptroller of the Currency for Policy in Washington, D.C.  The office of the Comptroller of the Currency is the regulatory agency for national banks in the US.  After retirement in 1995, Bob spent two years in the private sector, functioning as the Southeast Director in the Regulatory Advisory Practice of KPMG Peat Marwick, LLP.

In addition to his passions for golf, reading, fitness and his four grandchildren, upon moving to the Foothills, Bob initially worked with indigent kids in the central city through involvement with CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates.)  As a FCF Board Member and in his role as Treasurer, Bob hopes to give back to the community, assisting FCF in invigorating its financial systems to keep the foundation strong and vital.  Bob leads the planning of the Annual Charity Golf Scramble for the benefit of public education.
