John Abram
John
and his wife Kay have lived in Cave Creek for 10 years after relocating to the
Foothills from Southern California. Originally raised and educated in New
York City, John has lived in Western Europe, the Northern California Bay
Area as well as along the Southern California coast. Following a
thirty-year career in industrial electronics in executive leadership with
Motorola, Phillips, Arrow Electronic and Bell Industries, John led several
technology and telecommunications acquisitions and start-ups. John's
wife Kay Abrams,
Director of CCUSD Special Education, encouraged John’s participation on the
Public Education Partnership, Inc. (PEP) Board. He became PEP chair in
2003 and since the merger of PEP with the Foothills Community Foundation,
continues to lead the Education Division Steering Committee. The Abrams have four grown children and six grandchildren. John enjoys
golf, skiing, hiking the highest peaks of the southwest, NFL football and
cards. He hopes to help strengthen FCF and its role in the community
