The Foothills Community Foundation, Inc. enhances the quality of life and provides a unifying force in the Desert Foothills, -­ a mission carried out by dedicated volunteers throughout our community.

The Foothills Community Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit agency managed by a local volunteer board of directors. The Foothills Community Foundation forges partnerships and relationships that build community and that solve current community needs and concerns.

Extraordinary community support and volunteer leadership are the keys to the realization of our mission. The Foothills Community Foundation focuses upon

• Developing the arts and cultural enrichment opportunities
• Supporting education for our school-age children and by creating life-long learning opportunities for inquisitive adults
• Providing community service programs addressing social needs
• Furnishing volunteers for community projects

Time and Talent

Volunteers who care about our community and who wish to improve, enhance, and unify the community may do so by investing the precious gift of time.  This investment of time returns great dividends in two ways. Our volunteers

• deliver meals to housebound neighbors
• assist in and provide funds for school enrichment programs
• express creativity in theatrical and artistic venues
• plan cultural events and activities
• raise funds for program support

­- giving back to our community and enriching lives across generations. Secondly volunteers meet new friends, grow personally and accomplish important services.
