All Foothills Community Foundation programs and services are volunteer-driven. Volunteers make a difference and enrich our community through service.  All programs are led by volunteer steering committees that meet at regular intervals and require an annual commitment.  Other volunteer opportunities are one-time or episodic.  Volunteers have fun, build social connections, and contribute to the quality of life in our community.

Annual Steering Committees
Individual programs are organized according to program needs and no two are exactly the same.  Steering Committees establish the vision and direction for the program area as well as provide leadership for projects.  Steering Committee membership requires an annual commitment to regular (usually monthly) meetings and offers volunteers an opportunity to lead a project or functional area (like marketing, organizing a tour, scheduling lectures, etc.), which also represents a regular time-limited commitment to the project.  For more information about joining a steering committee, please call the FCF office at 480.488.1090 or email the chair.  Click here for a list of current Steering Committees and their members.

Culture

Cave Creek Christmas Pageant Team
Volunteers are needed to participate in the Christmas Pageant!
     Actors of all ages are needed to play non-speaking parts.  Commitment to both performances on Dec. 9 & 10 is preferred.
     Production crew is needed to assist with stage, lighting, etc.
     Concession volunteers are needed to provide coffee & cookies for performance nights.

Education Division

Build resources for community support for Education and share your talents to assist area schools.

Community Services

Foothills Caring Corps
Provide individual transportation and other services for the homebound.

Van Transportation
Transport groups of neighbors to shopping, social and cultural events.

Mobile Meals
Coordinate program and deliver “take-in” meals at lunch time.

Domestic Violence Education & Assistance
Assist with raising support for educational programs and forums in the schools for both children and parents.

Help create community fun and friend-raising events.

Marketing/Public Relations
Lend us your promotional skills to help plan and implement annual marketing.

Volunteer in the FCF Office
Meet other volunteers and help coordinate community events.
